Sarasate, Pablo de. (1844–1908) Original 1897 ProgramRare single sheet program from an 1897 Berlin Philharmonic performance of the great Spanish virtuoso fiddler composer. Very fine. 14. 5 x 23 cm. He performed the Bruch Violin Concerto, Saint Saens "Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso" and the Lalo "Symphonie Espagnole" among others. Both the Lalo and the Saint Saens were composed for Sarasate and remain among the most popular works in the violin literature.
